Pisa Calcio is an Italian football club that plays in the 3rd division of Italian football, Serie C1. Pisa Calcio comes from the eponymous town in Tuscany. Home Pisa Calcio playing in a blue / black vertically striped shirt with black pants and stockings.
The away games are in full red dress with a white cross (the medieval shield of the republic of Pisa) played. The club colors are blue and black. After 2006/07 season the club promoted from Serie C1 to Serie B.
Pisa Calcio was established in 1909 as Pisa Sporting Club. In 1994 the name was changed after bankruptcy AC Pisa. A year later the club got its current name. The best performance in the Serie A was in 1982 when the club was led by the Danish international Klaus Green Mountain 11th.
In 1985 and 1987, the club well, with several talented players. The latest promotion to Serie A in 1990. In season 2007/2008 the club for the first time in 13 years back in the Serie B play.
The club has never been a major national award this deal, they did twice the international Mitropacup to achieve.
