The club was in the period 2004-2010, trained by Rafael Benitez, who was also the man who led the club to success in the Champions League. His replacement was Roy Hodgson, who after a mediocre first half was replaced by former manager, Kenny Dalglish, who will lead the team in the rest of the season.
