A hybrid electric vehicle is a motor vehicle that is driven by an electric motor and at least one further power converter and the energy from a holding tank and a fuel storage facility (in vehicle) refers to electrical energy.
The hybrid electric drive to the motor vehicle is operating one of many possible hybrid drives of different compositions and uses. But this particular hybrid drive can be configured in many different variations.
The hybrid drive is used in volume production, to improve efficiency, reduce fossil fuel consumption or increase the power in the low speed range. Currently, combustion engines with electric motors and batteries are combined, it can be used but, for example, fuel cells or double-layer capacitors.
