Degerfors is a Swedish football club Degerfors. The club was founded in 1907 and his doctorate in 1938 for the first time to the highest class. That season was not a success and the club relegated immediately. Upon returning in 1940 it went a lot better and was second behind Degerfors Helsingborgs IF.
The following season the club is nestled near the top a few times and took the third place, relegation followed in 1956. In 1960 the club went back and after a few lesser season was the second time the second place, champion IFK Norrkoping had two points ahead in the standings.
Then it went downhill again in 1966 and again relegated Degerfors. This time the club was long absent in the highest class and returned only in 1993 and won back the Cup that year in Sweden.
After a few seasons the club relegated again in 1997. Two years later the club relegated further to the third class. Degerfors could only get the title in 2004 in the third class and return to the second class. In 2008 the club relegated again in 2009 once again promoted as champions of Division 1 Norra.
