CSKA Kiev is a Ukrainian football club from the capital Kiev. Until 1993 the club was called SKA Kyiv, SKA was the military designation for most clubs in the Soviet Union. During the 70s the club played a time in the city of Chernihiv.
The club was 4 times champion of Ukraine at that time was a lower class in the Soviet Union.

In 1993 the name Oriana Zbrojni Syli aagenomen and later CSK ZSU. From 1994 to 1996 and since 2002 the club took the present name. From 1995 to 2001 the club was the B team of CSCA Kyiv, the current Arsenal Kiev.
The club usually ended in the middle of the 2nd class. In 2000 the club was 5th. Then dropped the club some way.
In 2005 the club was still the seventh but in 2006 the club was not far from relegation. The club continued to perform poorly and eventually relegated in 2008.
