Brøndby IF standing on December 3, 1964 from the merger of two local clubs, Brøndby vester IF which stands at 1909 feet with the IF Brøndbyøster in 1928 and started the game as an amateur club, in the progress of this club promotion to Series promotion to Series Zealand and Denmark.
In 1973, BIF leadership of the club was taken over by their first captain Per Bjerregaard (also a physician, retired from football at age 27 years), head and directly recruit Finn Laudrup who became head coach of the player doubles, the team also found his the Laudrup brothers Ebbe Skovdahl as a player, Laudrup also brought his two sons Brian and Michael to play at this club junior team.

Laud up successfully brought a promotion to division 3 and decided to put an end to a career as a coach to re-focus as a player in Brøndby, but in the spring of 1974 Finn moved to KB who is in Division 1.
