A year later the name was changed in TJ LIAZ, LIAZ was a car factory in the neighboring town of Liberec. In 1970 the club reached the final of the cup of the Czech Republic (the qualifying round of the Czechoslovak Cup) but lost it from TJ Gottwaldov.
