SpVgg Unterhaching is a German football club from Munich, which plays in the Dritte Liga. The club has only once been in the Bundesliga for two seasons fra 1999 to 2001. In the first season where Unterhaching played in the Bundesliga, they played with both Bayern Munich and 1860 Munich; it was the first time that three clubs from Munich played in the best German series simultaneously.
The club was founded in 1925 as a football department of the club TSV Hachinger. The club was temporarily dissolved in 1933 by the Nazis, not documents that the club was a “German-friendly” club. After the second World reappeared in the lower ranks.
During the 70s the club moved up through the ranks and in 1989 moved it up in the second Bundesliga, only to move down the following year. In 1992, the club also briefly up in the second-best series, but in 1995 they managed to move up and preserve the site.
After a few central locations managed in 1999 to become No. 2, and thus to advance to the Bundesliga. The first season ended with an impressive 10th space (all of whom had predicted the club to relegation) but Unterhaching players could not live up to the good results and the club was relegated in 2001.
The following year the club moved into the Regional League, but moved in 2003 into the second Bundesliga again. Since then, the club was in the lower part of the series, but avoided relegation several times narrowly. In 2007 the club moved again, however, out of 2 Bundesliga.
