Pulkovo Airport is an international airport serving the city of St. Petersburg, Russia. It consists of two terminals, Pulkovo-1 (which mainly handles domestic flights) and Pulkovo-2 (international flights), is located about twenty kilometers south of the airport serves ciudad.3 4 The Connections Center Rossiya5 company (former Pulkovo Aviation Enterprise).
Initially the airport was named Shosséynaya, for its proximity to the train station with the same name. Construction began in January 1931 and was completed on June 24, 1932, with the arrival of the first plane at 17:31 the same day, after a flight of two hours from Moscow carrying passengers and mail.
