The stadium is the headquarters of the Danish Superliga club, FC Copenhagen and Denmark national football team. Although the stadium can only accommodate 38 000spectators in a football game, but this stadium can accommodate an audience of about50000-55000 to hold a concert.

In 1998, Baltica Finans sell the stadium to FC Copenhagen for $ 138 million krona.Now; the club has a stadium and an office building adjacent to the Parken Sport &Entertainment Company.
Parken belong to UEFA 4 star stadiums in the fall of 1993, thus meeting the requirements to host the final round of the UEFA Europa League and UEFA Cup Winners Cup (no progress).
