The Club Atletico Nueva Chicago is a sports institution located in the Stockyards district, west of the City of Buenos Aires, Argentina.2 3
It was founded on 1 July 1911 by a group of young people between 15 and 20 years of age.
Took its name from the neighborhood in which it was founded as in the early twentieth century, settled the slaughter of cattle, which made him popular for its similarity to the U.S. city of Chicago (center industry meat) so they started calling him as “The New Chicago”.
