The Minnesota Thunder is a football club based in the U.S. city of Blaine (Minnesota). The club was founded in 1990 as an amateur team, becoming a team professionsitico in 1994.
From that season until now, the Thunder have played in the USL First Division championship they won in 1999 (when it was named A-League) and in which they placed second on three occasions (1998, 2000 and 2003).
The company was disbanded in 2009 due to economic problems.
