The Los Angeles Galaxy (LA Galaxy) is a football (soccer) American professional franchise based in Carson in the suburbs of Los Angeles.
It evolves into MLS since its inception in 1996 and has the second ranking in the league behind the team from Washington DC United.
The club won three times in the MLS Cup trophy above the collective American League (2002, 2005, 2011), but also four MLS Supporters’ Shield (1998, 2002, 2010, 2011), two Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup or Cup U.S. soccer (2001, 2005),
And with DC United is one of only two American teams to win the CONCACAF Champions’ Cup (now Champions League CONCACAF since 2008) in 2000.
