In 2010, the company managed more than 40 million domain names. It is the largest domain name registrar in the world affiliated with ICANN, and has three times as many domain names as its direct competitor.
Go Daddy is known to the American public for its advertising campaign, including its advertisements can be counted in the Super Bowls of 2005, 2007, 2010 or 2011, and its sponsorship of motor racing vehicles, including cars featured drivers such as Dale Earnhardt Jr., Mark Martin, Ron Fellows in NASCAR or Indy Car Danica Patrick.
