FK Teplice is a football club in the town of Teplice in the Czech Republic. The club is after the Second World War in 1945 and currently plays in the highest Czech football league, the Gambrinus liga.
Three years after its inception the club has reached the highest class of Czechoslovakia and then played from the first or second class.
In 1977 (then as Sklo Union Teplice) the cup was won Czech part of the country, then in the finals for the Czecho-Slovak cup of the Slovak Cup winner Lokomotiva Kosice was lost with 1-2.
In 1996 the club returned after long absence to the highest class. In 1998/99 the club was a starting second thing provided for the preliminary round of the Champions League, Borussia Dortmund was too strong for the club.
After winning the cup in 2003 surprised the club in 2003/04 season in the UEFA Cup first round 1. FC Kaiserslautern and Feyenoord in the second round off. In the third round they were defeated by Celtic FC. In 2009 the Czech cup for the third time captured in the finals they defeated second-class 1. FC Slovácko 1-0.
