Deportivo Alaves, often abbreviated Alaves, is a Spanish football club from Vitoria-Gasteiz in the Basque Country. From 2009 the club plays in the Segunda División B.
For years played Deportivo Alaves in the Segunda División A, until in 1998 the club promoted to the Primera Liga. Pretty soon the Basque club at work to one of the top and in 2000 won the sixth place.
