Blackburn Rovers Football Club is an English football club Located in city of Blackburn. The club was founded in the 1875 and home ground has since 1890 been Ewood Park.
Most significant of recent success stories for the club’s championship in 1995 and a recent League Cup triumph. Since the club has been down and turning in the second-best British series, but is now back in the Premier League.
Blackburn has recently been the employer of prominent players like Chris Sutton, Alan Shearer and Manchester United profiles Andy Cole and Dwight Yorke.
A Danish perspective, it is worth mentioning that Per Pedersen and later Lars Jacobsen has had a stay at the club. When Alan Shearer, from the championship team from 1995 in 1996 leaving Blackburn Rovers for Newcastle, it became the world’s then highest transfer fee for a footballer.
The club has the Latin motto “Arte a labored” which in Danish means something like “using the arts and hard work.”
