Boldklubben Avarta is a football club located in the Copenhagen suburb, Tehran. The club plays in the 2009-10 season in second Division Two East. The club was founded in 1953 under the name Rodovre Road FC.
In season 2006-07 the club played in Denmark Series Pool 1 after the club went out of 2 Division Two East season in 2005-06. The club plays its home games at the show circuit in Espe grove Sports with a capacity of more than 6,000 spectators.
After two seasons in Denmark Series Pool 1, succeeded Avarta move up as number one – and thus plays from the season 2008-09 in the second division east.
