Bayern Munich, Frenchified name and abbreviated Football Club Bayern Munched eve is a German football club founded in 1900 disputing the championship this season in the Bundesliga and one based in Munich, capital of Bavaria (Bayern in German). The club’s name is often abbreviated to FC Bayern, Bayern Munich (Germany and speaking countries) or simply Bayern.
It is also commonly known in France, “Bayern Munich”, although the term did not refer to any literal translation of the name of the club.
It is one of the most recognized clubs and the most successful European football with four European Champions Cups, one European Cup Winners Cup and UEFA Cup. It is also one of the few clubs to have won all three European competitions organized by UEFA, only FC Barcelona, Juventus and Ajax Amsterdam have achieved such feat.
Nationally, Bayern Munich is the most successful club championship since it turned professional in 1963, with 22 titles. Since the late 1960s, he regularly presented annually as one of the favorites for this competition.
