AC Horsens is a Danish football club Horsens. The club was founded in 1994 following a merger between Horsens Forenede Sportsklubber (founded 1915) and FC Horsens.
Horsens fS was cofounder of the current Danish league in 1927, then divided into different groups, the club ended in a pool of four clubs with shared first Fremad Amager, despite a better goal difference was Fremad that went to the final stage. The following season the club finished behind BK Frem. In 1930 there was a uniform competition, there was Horsens sixth, then went downhill in 1932 and followed a degradation.
Then it took until 1967 before the club could make a return in the highest class and they were instantly third. Two years later the club was relegated in 1970 fifth and Horsens fs again.
In 1994 the club merged with FC than AC Horsens Horsens and became, in 2005 the club promoted to the highest class and was there in the first season just to avoid the relegation. In the 2008/2009 season the club relegated to the Danish First Division.
The 2009/2010 season was the club champion with great force majeure, making it in football year 2010/2011 again in the Danish SAS Ligaen to see. AC Horsens on its home games in the CASA Arena Horsens.
