Xbox is a sixth generation game console made by Microsoft. The console was released on November 15, 2001 in North America, February 22, 2002 in Japan, and March 14, 2002 in Europe and Australia. Xbox is the predecessor of the Xbox 360 and became the first console launched by Microsoft into the game console market. This console to compete with the PlayStation 2, Dreamcast, and Nintendo GameCube. The integrated Xbox Live service allows players to play online.
Xbox production stopped in 2006 although the last video game, Madden NFL 09, newly released in August 2008. Support for the Xbox console that stopped the warranty expired on March 2, 2009. Currently, all console repairs that are still within the warranty period will not be done again and the console that defects will be exchanged with the Xbox 360. As for Xbox Live support ended on 15 April 2010
