Joomla! Is a content management system and a web application framework can also be used independently. Its main virtue is to allow editing the contents of a web site easily. It is an open source application programmed mostly in PHP under a GPL license. The content administrator can work on the Internet or intranets and requires a MySQL database and, preferably, an Apache HTTP server.
On 17 September 2005, launched an early version of Joomla 1.0.0 which is the alias of Mambo version 4.5.2.3 developed by “Mambo Core Developers to August 2005″ a leave of Mambo.
