The Club Almagro, Almagro or simply, Argentina is a football club based in Almagro, a barrio of Buenos Aires. He played in the Primera B Metropolitana, the third series of Argentine soccer.
The club was founded January 6, 1911, following the merger of three local companies – the Jubile, San Martin and Lezica Juniors – under the name of Almagro, and then take its current name in 1916.
A year later became affiliated AFA, and played for the first time in the top flight in 1938.
In his history he played mostly in the second division. He recently played two seasons in the Primera Division, in 2000-2001 and in 2004-2005, coming in both cases, however, relegated after one season.
